A historical short film commissioned by the Exeter Phoenix, Watershed and the BFI Film Academy. Produced by Novel Visuals and directed by award winning filmmaker Sam Cox. This is a proof of concept for a longer authentic and original adventure film.​

Set in the Dark Ages, On The Same Earth explores historic languages, beliefs and culture entwining realism with myth in a film where two cultures meet."

Logline: A young Saxon separated from her tribe, is now surviving alone settling in unfamiliar land. Scared of the native locals and mythical creatures she begins to question her views after confronting both.
